COVID-19

20/11/2020

The Scottish Government have introduced a Five-Tier plan to tackle COVID-19, the good news is you can still attend your Podiatry appointments. As Podiatrists are registered medical professionals, they can continue to treat patients in all tiers, this includes nursing homes and home visits.

We are here and we are still open!

How are we keeping you safe?

It important to A Foot Ahead Podiatry and Healthcare that all staff and patients are protected during their visit to the clinic:

Hand sanitiser will be available upon entering the clinic and within the waiting areas. This must be applied.

All patients must wear a face mask (with the exception of those exempt).

Treatment rooms and public surfaces will be disinfected before and after each appointment.

All staff will wear appropriate PPE.
We already follow a strict cleaning and sterilising regime.

We are regularly following updates and advice from the the World Health Organisation (WHO), the HCPC (The Health and Care Professions Council), the COP (College of Podiatry) the NHS, and the Scottish Government with regards to COVID-19.
We kindly request that all our patients follow the advice given by the government.

If you are showing any signs of symptoms known to be associated with COVID-19 such as a persistent cough, loss of taste and/or smell, fever, or flu like symptoms it is advised to stay at home and self isolate. We are more than happy to reschedule your appointment if this is the case.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this time!
